Mother of a soon to be 4 year old girl and a soon to be 1 year old boy. I love my kids!! I lost all my weight plus some after my daughter and ready to get it off again. Ready to get down to at least 160, but focusing on 10 lbs at a time.

Does anyone know why I am not losing weight anymore?
I love pop, but cannot do the diet. Yuck. I still eat what I want, but try to do it in moderation. I allow myself one pop a day, usually first thing in the morning and drink water for the rest of the day. I generally drink more pop on the weekends, which I know I shouldn't do. My wellness coach tries to get me to switch to diet, but I can't. The thing with pop is that it's empty calories - no nutrients. But a calorie is a calorie and from what I hear too little calories can have the opposite effect. You can't deprive yourself of something otherwise you'll want it all the time and end up failing. Eat what you want, but in moderation and try to make the healthier choices. Eventually, you'll be on the healthier path. I'm like you I like to see the scale go down daily.

Breakfast Ideas
I tried the Kashi GoLean Crunch cereal this morning that I got from our cafeteria (I work in a hospital) and it was very good. I like the easiness of cereal, but sometimes the milk gets to me. So far so good this morning (I used fat free skim milk). I also bought a greek yogurt for later just in case. Right now I want it just because I know it's so good, but putting it up until I AM hungry. Thanks for all the tips.

Breakfast Ideas
Does anyone have any low cal, low fat breakfast food that they would like to share?? I'm a pretty picky eater, but I would like to change it up from scrambled eggs or an egg and cheese sandwhich. Usually protein is what I need to stay full longer, but will to try out high fiber foods. Any suggestions would be great!

5k I ran Saturday - 30:29
I ran my 1st 5K in 8 years on Saturday in 37:21. I would have been happy to finish in 45, but that time made me feel great. Now all I have to do is shave 7 minutes off of my time so I can keep up with you!

I totally agree, when someone notices you're losing weight it is like a pat on the back and motivation to keep up the work.
