My name is Jim or James or whatever you want to call me. I live in Pittsburgh and I've been fighting weight problems my whole life. I have been as light as 158 and as heavy as 230. I have my father's curse: a pot belly...

When he passed away in 2007, I ballooned to my heaviest, so I decided now is the time to slim/trim down once and for all, especially for my daughter.

All the regimented diets are too hard to follow (I've tried them all), and the easiest way is simply this:
Calories burned > Calories consumed = Weight Loss

Really simple, but some foods (especially pizza and beer for me) just taste so darn good, and no matter what any one says exercise is not fun.

Lifestyle changes, good support, and not beating myself up over moments of weakness will get me through it.

someone please answer me
I would encourage to talk to a nutritionist and a doctor. I am concerned that you feel that you have no one to talk to. Please reach out to a professional who can help you. Your weight is low, so this doesn't sound like a weight-loss issue. As far as toning your body, 3 meals a day with some healthy snacks is sound advice. I don't think eating one meal a day will get you the results you seek. If you keep the meals light and eat healthy, it shouldn't matter. You can eat a lot of vegetables/fruits and feel full. You need energy to fuel your body. For exercise, choose strength training with some light cardio to help target the areas you want to lose weight from. It works. Throw a little yoga in to help tone and calm yourself. You'll be fine. We are here to be supportive.

Weight Loss
There are no supplements to help you lose weight. Supplements for weight loss are just modern-day snake oil salesmen. I do find myself using a protein shake like garden of life fit, soylent, or another protein shake if I don't have time for a regular meal. Nice thing is you know exactly how many calories you consume in a protein shake.
