I am a 49 year old wife and RN who spent most of my adult life at over 200 lbs. In January of 2013 I weighed in at 206 lbs. My employer began requiring us to wear a pedometer from Walking Spree. I used the site to record my steps and started using it to journal my food intake. Over the next nine months I lost 34 lbs to a low of 172 lbs. I have since leveled off at 177-178. A little stuck. My goal is 160 lbs. I don't buy anything diet or sugar-free. My only concession is 2% milk and non-fat yogurts. I find myself protein-challenged most days. It's hard to cook meals when working 12+ hour days. I'm also sleep-challenged (usually 5-6 hours per night). So, I'm looking for that right combo to lose the final 15 lbs. I work out at home 2-4 days a week using the Biggest Loser CD's and have worked my way up to completing the full 1-hour workouts. :D If I don't loose any more weight and can maintain where I am, I would be ok with that cause it's much better than where I was...But I would be happy indeed to reach my goal!
