I've been a fitness instructor for over 20 years. I teach aerobics/aqua/pilates/bodyART/... classes. Am currently also filling in as assistant fitness coordinator at my gym.
Busy schedule! At this point in my life (54), I realize the importance of balance :-) Making time for ME = me being better for the important people in my life.
Last May I entered a fitness competition. The training/nutrition componet was very, very hard BUT I stuck with it. What was interesting was trying to balance AFTER it was over. I wanted to EAT all the time and gorge on food. So trying to re-balance has been difficult, but I'm on the right track now!
