How do you add a food (from a restaurant) when you only know the calories but not the nutritional in
What I do in a situation like that is put in 0's for the other info fatsecret wants and make an actual note in the title that it isn't full info. that way you can mark your calories

Took the plunge, got a pedometer!
I have an ipod nano that has a pedometer in it and I use it, but I didn't know how to get the calorie count. Thanks for sharing that!

Low impact cardio for a problematic knee
I tore my ACL about 2 years ago and was having all kinds of trouble with my knee and high impact exercise, I took a water aerobics class(twice a week for 12 weeks) and let me tell you it was AWESOME for my knee. I've gained so much flexibility and even stability back in it to the point that it doesn't bother me to run(err well jog) now! I also have started rollerblading and it is very low impact on the knees, but can be hard on the ankles.

I've got other things I do if you want to add me as a buddy I can message you and keep you updated with new tricks I've found!

Pain of being Overweight
Oh OctoberBride06, that is absolutely terrible! I'm so sorry for you. Yours is a similar story to mine, except my mother didn't say I was fat.
As a child my mother pushed food down me and once I reached about 15 she would remark how she felt better about herself because she weighed less than me... HELLO poor self image coupled with an addiction to food that she basically forced me into. When I did something good I was rewarded by a treat, or when I was upset instead of talking about it she would just give me sweets. Now, at 23 I have had the MOST embarasing moment of my life. I was at the carnival and there were 2 guys pushing and shoving on the bar(the kind that comes down over your shoulders) and then looked at me and said no that I had to get off the ride with a line of people looking at me.
