I have been a fat kid, fat teen, and fat adult. Yup, fat all my life. I used to be upset about my weight when in high school, but I somehow got over it, and as I entered my 20s, the weight never was a problem for me, in fact I was all for loving your body for what it is, and I was comfortable the way I was. Recently however, I started feeling lethargic and my legs started aching. I have let myself go over the last 2 years especially by partying too much, consuming everything and the kitchen sink, and not to mention the alcohol consumption, and I believe that lifestyle was getting to me. I started on this website after I decided to make a lifestyle change, for my health, and to enter my 30s (in 3 months) healthy and fabulous. I need to maintain focus and motivation!

Diet Sodas
Does anyone have any opinions on coke zero or just 0 cals club soda? Does it halt weight loss? I am doing pretty well on the food front, but I am ingesting quite a bit of soda water, and I'm wondering if that slows down the weight loss, and if so, how or why as they are 0 calories. How does sodium affects weight loss?

Sorry for the multiple questions, but hearing your thoughts and experiences would be great. Cheers.

Not losing weight!
I have been eating well under my calorie limit over the last month... but have stalled at 55kgs for almost 2 weeks now. Yes, I did drop a whopping 4kgs in the first two weeks, but after that it's just come to a complete halt. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

What's the most you've put on after a month of letting yourself go?
Ha! Thanks all for your responses. Well, yeah, I think I could gain 2kgs in a week as well, super easily with a few days of "letting go."

The reason I asked the question is because I'm preparing myself to go home for the holidays - and I'll be home with family and friends for 3 weeks. I dread the weight I might put on after finally reaching my goal weight.

And there's no such thing as "eating healthy" at home, over the Christmas holidays.
