I'm bbe (Reesie) 49 yrs old. I just began the Adkins weightloss plan and am looking forward to loosing weight and maintaining it. I am the mother of one daughter 20 yrs old with a full time stressful job. The diet distracts me from thinking about some of the stresses at work. I like to walk, read sometimes when I have time, or when my mind is not racing a million miles a minute. Since my daughter is older now and semi-independent, LOL I thought it was a good time to do some things for myself so the weight loss is the beginning. Ihave tried dieting before, but I am taking a new approach to dieting at this time by following a plan.My do it yourself diets don't work...I want to get into some different activities like bowling, maybe some group activities, and perhaps a book club. Just time for something different.
