I re-started my journey in Nov and have lost 10# already. I am just starting to feel better and more energized the back pain is much better and my knees are starting to become stronger. I am feeling more like my real self, for months I have been dragging, depressed and in severe pain. A few months ago I had to quit my job because of increased back pain due to increased work load and I was nearly incapacitated. Just walking to the mailbox I would be in so much pain I would almost be in tears. I have been doing fluidity workouts plus stationary bike and yoga stretching in my own living room, among other things.
A few years ago I weighed about 300#!! I started working out and had lost about 115# but I got side tracked and overwhelmed with stresses and life and gained some of it back. I am just happy that I did not gain it all back before I put a stop to it! :) But I did gain way more than I should have or obviously would have liked. Well here I go again! I have 78# to go to get to where I want to be on the scale and I WILL get there!

What's everyone's fitness routine?
I workout at home. I have an intense dislike for gyms and the crowds there Smile I have a stationary bike and I do callanetics and fluidity ( I recently bought the bar and dvds used for much less than new!) I love it! I also do some yoga type stretches sometimes on the exercise ball and other times on the floor, at least once a day. I intermittently also do some mild walking.

Workout DVD - "Slim in 6" Does it work?
I have this dvd and have done it in the past and yes it works very well. I think she is a little too chipper for my tastes Smile but I really liked the dvd when I did it. I do not think the gym is better, myself. I have done the gym thing many times but there are so many excuses that can get in the way of going and I just don't like the group thing to begin with. I have everything I need to do my workouts here in the privacy of my home and I can do it any time of the day or night I chose. And I don't have to feel self conscious or dress a certain way or anything Smile
