I've been at the same height and build since I was 9 years old. My eating habits over the years became pretty unhealthy, and I'm currently trying to find a way of eating that matches my childhood habits -- back when I thought carrots were candy and raisins too sweet to tolerate. It is my hope that the Ketogenic Diet will lead me to my old pattern of: very little bread or grains; moderate amounts of meat and poultry (I'm allergic to seafood); and butter on everything. Of course, now that I'm lactose- whey- and casein-intolerant, that last habit is slowly becoming "coconut oil on everything." :-)

What do the 2 numbers on the alarm clock icon at the top of my age tell me?
Do you mean the stopwatch? It is, indeed, the total of calories expended from exercise(what we call calories are actually kilocalories, hence the "kcal"Wink for the day. The number underneath it is your net calories, and that number is calculated by subtracting your exercise calories from the total of your meal & snack calories. Hope this helps.

Losing Weight & Not Tryng To!
Has anyone looked at your adrenal function? I ask because my own thyroid issues (underweight) stemmed from poor adrenal performance. Unfortunately, the way I found out was, after a short time on thyroid hormone replacement, I suffered adrenal failure -- where my adrenals basically exploded, with extreme back pain and near-constant vomiting -- which was traced back to supporting the thyroid without also supporting the adrenal glands. Definitely seek the advice of a different endocrinologist!
