So how do I assemble an effective home-training program?
Hey everyone...I used to go to the gym but no one looks like me there and then they stare at you when you get tired easily Sad so I decided to start working out at home. Not an easy task but I try to get in at least 4 workouts a day. I find that doing challenges helps me. On pinterest I found 3 day challenges (arms, legs and abs) each are about 15 min but they are all low impact and you use your body strength. Then I do 20 min of Zumba (I'm latina so we love to dance lol) or Jilliam Michaels also has a 30 day challenge on netflix and the workouts change every 10 days. I am not a workout junkie at all but I find that these work best for me. Good luck and let me know how it goes Smile

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
Hi everyone...I've just started here and I must say your comments are helpful. I have a really long way to go. I recently lost my dad and gained a lot of weight because I am an emotional eater. In fact I didn't even want to see my starting weight for fear that I would get depressed and eat more Smile But I decided it was important for me to see where I am starting to I know where I want to be. My first weigh in is tomorrow and I'm nervous but I have decided that once a week if fine for me. I agree that you have to do what is best for you. If 5x a weeks workds for you then go ahead, if 1x for the month then hey why not. The most important thing is to support those who need it, I mean isn't that part of why we have these forums Smile
