l had a nice healthy dinner tonight. Yesterday I roasted a butternit squash, some turns & several Nantes carrots, which I added a couple tablespoons of olive oil to, as well as some rosemary. I roasted them for about 40 minutes at 375 degrees until they were tender. I got them out of the fridge today, put them into a saucepan with about 2 cups of chicken broth & simmered them for about 45 minutes while l did my workout.
At dinnertime, l took some garlic, ginger, onion powder, a bit of cayenne, a bit of smoked paprika....mashed it all togther, donned it into a bowl, added a dollop of light sour cream. Yum!

tonight's stationary bike ride was 49 minutes, 10 miles, burning 301 calories. 15 minutes at level 4 resistance, the rest at level 5

Got an extra workout in today in the form of another walk with the hubby.

today l walked with my hubby for about 40 minutes. Then I did another preset workout on the stationary bike for 30 minutes at assorted resistance levels burning 200 calories.

tonight l tried a pre-set work out on my stationary bike which would have me burn up to 250 calories in 30 minutes. So Istarted a warm up at level 4 resistance......then it SHOT up to level 8, where it stayed for a while, then level 9 for a while, then level 10....OMG! So I had to take many breaks, but l managed to burn 202 calories in that 30 minutes, so I then put it at level 5 and did about another mile plus some & burned 30 more calories.
