I think a "bucket list" is a good thing and because of one and good friends I hiked the West Coast Trail this past summer. It was the best thing I have ever experienced and will hopefully never forget.

My health and fitness goals are:
- shed 20 pounds in a healthy way
- keep it off by lifestyle
- be able to run without pain or injury

I see other members do the following and I think maybe five pound increments will be more achievable for me so I am going to give it a try.

recording water in food diary
I love this: There's no such thing as cheating, only choices! NO EXCUSES.... I will be saying it to myself a lot for a time being! Thanks Kat. I made some bad choices over the last three days.

I say record it. Hopefully these journals will be useful in the future. If 2 years down the road you look back and wonder what worked and what didn't, if you don't record your water first thing I would notice is that you didn't have enough water. If you end up working with a personal trainer or dietician/nutritionist they will want to know how much water you drink daily. Sure it doesn't make a different to your RDI but water certainly has a lot to do with weight loss.
