Ok, before I begin let me just say...I am a guy. A dude. Yep, a Male. A fellow FS'er told me that she didn't realize I was a guy till we chatted. SO just to make it obvious...I am a guy. Now with that out of the way. I know FS has a lot of women but there are a few men who are battling the weight on as well.
I just turned 40 (although I look like I am 31-33). Two years ago I lost 53 lbs then I gained 44 of those pounds back. I need to lose this weight before I get older because I see how some of my older colleagues are suffering from weight related ailments (hypertension, diabetes, arthritic knees and backs). I am using the same methods of losing weight as I did before so I know it works. The difference is that I need to keep at it and not stop until I reach my goal. I seek to lose about 63 lbs, a tall task but I have already lost 13 lbs (wasn't a member of fat secret for 11 of those lbs). For me, losing those 63 more lbs would be a major achievement. To anyone reading this, do not ever give up, even if you plateau, just keep going, your body is just readjusting. Healthy living is a process not a one day thing. Goal 6: Reach 212 lbs (my lowest weight before the weight gain)
Goal 7: Reach 200 lbs
Goal 8: Reach 190 lbs
Goal 9: Reach my HS Weight: 180 lbs!
Goal 10: Maintain that weight and stay fit (Good Muscle tone).
