Hi, my name is Elizabeth. You know, I've been overweight all my life and always promised myself that "someday" I'd get in shape. I was athletic from my late teens to early twenties. Loved basketball, rodeo, swimming, etc. I was still in college when I got married and decided to start a family. The moment my son was born and I looked into his big beautiful eyes I knew I should never leave him so I decided to drop college and any and all of my personal activities. He was my priority and my everything. I gained 50 lbs more with that pregnancy and kept gaining ever since. Five years later we had our second child, she was born 3 months early weighing only 2 lbs and I couldn't help to wonder if the premature labor was caused by my overweight. At that point I knew I needed to make a change. My husband, who always loved and accepted me for who I was suffered alongside me for the next 5 years watching me go thru countless attempts with fad diets, inyections, pills, drops and even failed weightloss surgery. My surgeon would say "this is just a tool"...I learned that the hard way and I will for ever have the scars of surgery to remind me that there is NO easy way out. Now I know there is no magic pill, not even a magic procedure and there is no secret either. I've been told for years that eating right and exercise is the key but I never got it until now. Thanks to the programs I'm doing now, not only am I finally getting closer and closer to reaching my goal but I've also eliminated sleep apnea, pre diabetes, cholesterol, hair loss, fatigue, etc. I'm 80 lbs down and have 60 lbs more to go. I'm committed and helping others reach their goals, who would have known! I finally get it... SOMEDAY IS TODAY!!!
