Hi! I'm Crystal and I'm 19-years-old. I have struggled with my weight my whole life but I am finally really taking control of my life and losing weight the healthy way.
I am a full time student and work as much as I can, one day a week as a nanny and I try to focus as much energy I can on expanding my small business as a dog trainer and care provider.

I used the plan on coolrunning.com a few months ago and never finished. I just started again and I LOVE it! I used to HATE running but i LOVE LOVE LOVE it now! It's become really addicting. It can be frustrating to feel like you're progressing so slowly, but it pays off because you don't over work your body so you don't want to give up! Make sure you buy some GOOD shoes though so your joints don't after!

The Love of my life...
I learned how to ride on an Arab, and they are my favorite breed by far. I currently have an appendix quarter gleding and a national show horse mare. Unfortunately my gelding is quite old now and has a few issues that keep me from riding him now, and our mare has been lame since long before we got her. Plus, I had a few nasty accidents with my gelding him and im scared half to death of horses now lol. But god, how i miss those early morning rides.

How can I get more protein into my diet?
I'm a vegetarian and I just got a gym membership, so I'm working out on a regular basis. I'm doing weight watchers and loving it, and I love the RDI thing on here now that shows me what percentage of my food comes from carbs, proteins and fat, but I would really like to increase my percentage of protein. Meat and fish are obviously out for me lol. Any tips?

Food before or after work out?
Thanks! Apples have carbs right? lol We just got 40lbs of apples from a friend of ours that used it for a halloween photo shoot and I really need to retrain my body to enjoy fruit since I never really ate it as a kid. I live on junk food and I hate it!

Food before or after work out?
I'm finally getting myself back on track with my diet and work outs, but I was wondering is it better to eat before or after I work out? I usually only have time for a workout in the morning, early, before school or work. So is a light breakfast okay before my morning jog?
