I'm 68 have been over weight for ever last year lost about 45lbs. Then gained 25 back. So now I'm ready to lose all 25 lbs. I'm on FS for a week now. So far I have not lost anything. But I 'm going to give this a try and I will loose all 25 with help from every one

Eating at my mother in law.
Portion sizes true. At first MIL will fuss and offer you more food. I went thru that with a friend. But after awhile she will lighten up. And save some calories for that meal. Good luck I know it's hard to be around food an not be able to eat everything.

Help for 2 reasons!
So sorry. Be kind to yourself. You have been thru a lot.take the extra time to get back on track. maybe if you have a good support system it will make things easier. I wish you all the best and keep journaling we are here for you.

Giving up the scale?
I have a hard time staying on a DIET. I weigh every day, that seems to work for me , it sort of set the pace for the day. And right now "this week anyway" it's working. LOL down a lb. this morning

Yes, you are trying to lose weight but looked forward to that one treat a week, Maybe just not take it I'm sure someone else would love it. Always a skinny in the office that loves sweets. Just saying, if it were me I would enjoy it With every one else and give up something else. But good luck with what ever you do.
