I am a 51 year old Software Developer. Married since 1989, mother of 3, two in college and one in high school. I haven't had too many weight issues, but during the last 5 to 8 years I have been slowly putting the weight on. For a while I was nearly at 170, which was quite a bit for my 5'3". I lost some of it, down to about 150, and let it slowly start creep back on. Now I am determined to get down to about 130 which is what I weighed when my husband and I were married. I want to have energy to run 5K's and keep up with my kids!
Also I want to inspire my husband to lose some weight so that he won't be at as great of risk for heart disease which runs in his family.
I recently got distracted from my fitness goals as I cared for my ailing mother who recently passed away. Mom I miss you but its time for me to get out there and get fit!
