northernmusician's Journal, 28 July 2014

Mmm. Back to food I recognize. Haven't been counting cals. Back on track. Going to 2500 to see what happens. Far less macro conscious. I'll be reducing proteins some and boosting carbs..

Books printing and soon to be bound (catching up with sales). Have a short to do list of mostly physical things. Have all my notes to sort out, digitize and get into a binder. After that, a copy goes into the safety deposit box.

Possibly start a new website today, but it may have to wait until tomorrow. Everything takes time. My problem is I see the whole thing and don't want to give myself time to go through the process. Part of that is because of the weight of the last three weeks. Have the new business to get up and running too.

Got back into my weight lifting routine yesterday. It's been at least 2 weeks since I've had that structured physical exercise. I've just been running flat out. Calling it a serious deload. Lifted at about 50% and found some muscles wanted more and some were very upset at what I was doing to them. Slow and steady over the next two weeks is safest. It'll happen.

Thanks for hanging in with me, my friends. I hope I haven't lost any of you. If you PM'd and were ignored, it was not for lack of desire that I didn't answer. I'll need some time to get level again. Going from a strict daily routine to chaos and discovery is a real mind bender.

Take care all

Welcome back :) I hope you find more structure in your life now. I think starting a new business and a website is a great idea. Maybe not right away, but when things are more settled for you. Just get started, and little by little it'll get done. One thing, or one piece in this case, at a time :)

Thank God you're back. Some of us have been wandering around like zombies without you. You lost 10 pounds in a month without trying, and you will do your body fat to tell us how much of it was muscle, right? of it muscle? Wow. You'll have to journal about that sometime, though I'm sure it had its unpleasantness. Hey, even if it was stress loss, it's better than coming back 10 pounds heavier due to stress! Seriously, though, welcome back. You were sorely missed, and you may never know how much.
