Yippee - the weather is less humid (40%)and in the upper 80's (89 degrees), so I was out on the bike trail again today. Yesterday, I went for bursts of speed, and today for distance although I only rode 10.5 miles averaging 12-13mph - but it is my longest this season.

At the end of the September, I am riding 25 miles in a Pancreatic Cancer Fundraiser - but there will be many stops. My best friend's husband died in March - only five months after diagnosis. It was a sad one...

I want a bike so bad! Glad you got a ride in. You'll work up to the 25 (which sounds like a great idea for a fundraiser). Sorry to hear you are so close to the cause.

Sweet! Interval training always stokes up my metabolism! Can't wait to either a)fix my bike or b) upgrade! I miss biking so much already.

Thank you so so - did I say so - much for the comment on my journal. So. Do you have a spedometer on your bike? That's neat. My bike is great & COMFORTABLE with its wide body seat but it is so "old school." Again - good luck with the training!
