NON-SCALE VICTORY! Just got back labs from the VA - threw them up against previous labs since the beginning of my journey. (With tongue firmly planted in my cheek...) Dear Keto, LCHF and Atkins skeptics, do you like fruit? Well... how you like THEM apples? LOL! (Doin' the dance!)

There you go! Cutting your TRIs in 1/2 lowers your risk of CVD. AANDDDD getting your glucose in control.... MY MAN!!!!

May I ask, did your HDL come up due to exercise, as well as keto? Due to heredity, supposedly , my HDL are never high enough.

That's great! So pleased for you that your health is improving! Since stroke and heart attack run in my family, my journey is about trying to avoid the massive stroke and tragic 11-month decline in a nursing home, unable to communicate, that my dear mother went through before she passed away. That was my wake-up call to get serious about improving my health.

That's awesome... I hope my Glucose numbers can look that good next time. My A1C was perfect but Glucose was high for a fasting test.

Thanks all - modern conventional thinking about what I do just got set back a couple of decades. @Sarahbecky - walking (and light yardwork) comprise the entirety of my 'exercise'; there are SOME heredity markers (HBP,diabetes,etc.).

Gratz! I'm just getting started on my journey. I'm insulin resistant but blood sugar is ok so working to take the weight off. Thanks for sharing this :) it's nice inspiration.
