Welcome, welcome! Just a piece of advice that works for me... be religious about logging food into FS before putting it in the mouth AND entering any exercise/activity before plopping ourselves down to rest. Enjoy the journey with us!

Diets can be harmful.
Just some material I grabbed off the web when your post got me a little curious...

Yo-yo dieting... is a term coined by Kelly D. Brownell at Yale University, in reference to the cyclical loss and gain of weight, resembling the up-down motion of a yo-yo. (Wikipedia)

Is it bad for you? That's not clear. (webMD)

Repeated dieting can make it more difficult for you to lose weight over time, but not for the reasons you may think... There’s also no convincing evidence that yo-yo dieting causes your metabolic rate to take a permanent nosedive. (discoveringgoodnutrition.com)

According to the National Institutes of Health, myths that tie weight cycling to greater regain at the waist or to increased difficulties in future weight loss attempts are unfounded. Research does not support dieting history influencing waistline fat and difficulty losing weight, which both tend to increase with age. Neither does research offer much support to the fear that weight cycling increases a person’s tendency to regain weight. (calorielab.com; e.g. Guest contributor: Karen Collins, M.S., R.D., C.D.N.)

Food Delusions
Sometimes I think certain foods are marketed wrong in the app... I KNOW I should NOT rely on it (exclusively) but its convenient to do so while out-and-about... so, I feel ya', I do, I do.
