it has been an absolutely fantastic day. Got my day 5 of my new program at the gym in. Going on day 8of my low carb reset and still going strong. Work has been easy. And its cool outside so Im gonna put my tree up tonite. Everyone is gone and Im here alone so meh, what the hay. Might as well ! Have a wonderful Friday night every one.

Erika,our family always puts it up on Thanksgiving but Im soo busy that day and have to work the day after and the Saturday after that DH and I decided to put it up the week prior a few years ago bc we wanted to enjoy it longer.. I take it down after New Years. This way I have it up at least 6 weeks :)

I changed up my macros a while go and gained, too. I am hoping to see an increase in muscle when the trainer measures my bodyfat...but if that does not play out, I will go back to LCHF, too.

It is possible to have too much protein (which is supposed to help increase muscle) and gluconeogenesis uses it to create glucose which can be stored as fat if not used.

HCB, I just read about gluconeogenesis just the other day! I think I needed the break away from LCHF, even when I was on it, I was really committed to being on it towards the end and just kinda used it as a guideline. I needed to leave and come back for it to work again... hoping for another loss this week
