Four words: Halo Top Ice Cream
Ate a full pint of chocolate all by myself. That stuff is just too good to be low carb...LOL However, there really IS too much of a good thing.
Paying today with an irritated tummy, an extra .6 pound, and knocked myself out of ketosis.
Ah well, back at it today. Halloween party luncheon at work, but I am prepared. I have some deviled eggs and grilled chicken to have with the salad that is provided. Normally I would take a low carb sweet to avoid the cookies and cake, but I think I have had enough sweet for the week. LOL
Happy Friday everyone!

there are 2 Halo Top flavors in our freezer at work. I am chicken to ask who has them in there because I don't want to hear how fabulous they are and then go buy one!

It's not really lo carb. and very high protein - not great for LCHF folks.

Halo Top rocks...for special occasions.

I love the lemon and want to try the red velvet. I have been able to incorporate them into my LCHF woe very successfully.....

I must be missing out on something I don't really need to experience! Haven't heard of Halo Top...and I think I had better leave well enough alone:) It sounds like it was an amazing indulgence...

There is also Artic Zero :) but I haven't tried it and I can't 100% document the carbs etc read it on one of my body building sites as an alternative sweet snack with protein they have a toasted coconut I would love to try (on my fun food day of course)

Halo Top is the best! I can never control myself around it though and it's expensive so I have to refrain from buying out the store sometimes :P Birthday cake's my personal fave, although they just came out with new flavors that I can't find but want to try. Arctic Zero's not really great in my opinion, tastes more like chocolate flavored ice, but I've only tried one flavor so who knows, maybe it was just a bad pint.

I have heard that about the Arctic Zero as well. Halo Top is really quite good. I have learned that I need to have it on rare occasions. It is really easy to overindulge.

We only have 2 grocery stores in town and neither of them carry Halo Top. One does have Artic Zero. It's pretty good but I don't have it very often. I prefer to make frozen smoothies with protein powder and almond milk.
