So seriously the desserts at the luncheon today were crazy!!! I have reached the point in life where actually the sweets and the smell, made me feel yucky! I did enjoy a piece of cheesecake and I tasted a truffle that someone had made. But then I was done. I am glad. In the past I would not have stopped nor cared. Growth is good. =)

I feel that way too quite frequently. It has got to the point when making sweets I have to make the kids or husband taste them because they just don't taste appealing to me anymore and this is even with recipes I have used for years that other people love.

I went to a wedding shower last week where there were more deserts than appetizers and entrees put together! I was very proud of myself though, I chose the smallest marshmallow bar, and that was it!
