Maybe you should try eating slightly larger meals in the morning or whenever your first meal is secondly carry a little nibble sack with almonds or pistachios try eating a little more fat as that will help to curb that late hunger and make sure you're staying well-hydrated those glasses of water or even with some type of light non sugary Crystal Light type of drink will help that feeling of hunger

PORK RINDS!!!!!!! nothing beats them for the salt cravings. And the crisp factor too. Not to mention they are 0 carb. They really are the best snack.

Ok I just read about this yesterday in my bookclub. Their suggestion is to " Surf the urge". It's a lot like meditation. Sometimes by trying to suppress or control your feelings and thoughts the urges get worse. Like a boomerang it can come right back at you and is relentless. Here is what they suggest. Observe your feelings and thoughts and accept them. But, you don't have to act on them. Just observe them like in meditation. Sit with it without acting on it. Let them pass like clouds dissolving in the wind. Watch and notice how the urges affect your body. Focus on your breathing. Become more calm. Let your internal alarms fade. Then, Remind yourself of what you really want. Everything passes. Thoughts pass. Urges pass. Cravings pass. Your mind, after accepting these thoughts and feelings will get bored with them and move on. Jeeez I'm bored already with this whole thing!!! Lol!! Good luck. Whatever you do, you'll be fine. No worries. Just stick with it and you will find your way.😊

I believe when you really start craving, is when your body is burning the most fat.

Stay strong! Imagine yourself on the scale.

Two things... you should NEVER go hungery... E-V-E-R. Also try more filling "snacks" like almond butter, a protein bar, something that will fill you up and leave you "full" instead of getting digested right away. Remember, you GOT this.. just need to switch a few things around.

@Zenfreek NO! Not EVER!!! Never imagine yourself on a scale.. that is the best way to loose the battle... a scale is not the best way to measure your progress anyway.. so, no scale..

If your hungry.....eat.

I disagree with Ruthless. Everyone is different. During a weight loss, especially those who are fighting the battle and not doing much training, is essential to keeping honest. Even when you're lean. It's a good double check. It's fine when you're lean enough that you can see your progress, but the scale is a good check. For men, we tend to look pretty much the same from about 18% body fat and 12% body fat. That could be 15 pounds on some guys. The scale can be an important part of checking what you're doing.

I totally agree with LoveLife111 about tracking the bodily sensations and waiting for the urges to pass. Hang with it - we all have your back!

The difference between hunger and cravings is an important distinction. Feed the hunger, endure the cravings. I got to thinking about gooey cake yesterday, went so far as to hunt down some recipes, and think up some of my own. Killed it with an avocado. The struggle IS real, and, unfortunately, ongoing.
