THAT's my girl!! Great work. Life heavy, baby!

Wow, that is a big difference! You've done so well! You might want to research that 17% body fat goal to see if it is a good idea. I have read that women are intended to have higher body fat than men and going too low could have adverse effects.

You look great now, but I completely understand wanting to go lower. It becomes a head game. A desire to find out what we could actually do seems to take over. By the way, i'd go out with you. :) lol

WOW, You are a force to be reckoned with. 24% to 17%, amazing Pan, I guess that means you need to find new leathers for your bike. Be proud and flaunt what you got you earned it. Pick up your game? That will be tough but you can do it.

Hey ... Dumb question---when you are talking "cut" I'm assuming less BF% so more muscle showing? Is this correct ?

Thanks guys! Yeah right now I am at 24%- my goal is 17% it will be tough but I need to start working at it. and figuring out how to alter my eating to do it.
@SjF60 Yes correct- Less BF% and muscle will show.

trackin64- You are correct- I did some research before and I think 17-18% is reasonable. My trainer is around 9% and he is healthy. I wouldn't go lower than 17% though. But hey if i end up at 19% and pretty cut and happy I will stay there!

You look great! I binge on weekends too...my problem! What work outs do you do? I can not afford a trainer. At 138 and hard to lose weight.

SjF, cut is used for both ideas, a level of definition or as a generic term meaning fat loss. The order is generally, full house (me at 240), hard, cut, defined, ripped, sliced and shredded. Pan is talking about the defined/ripped level. 17% is low, but still healthy for a woman. Below that and you start messing with the endocrine system, and you get as snarky and short tempered as all get out.

My typical week looks like this
Monday-Lifting with trainer (barbell squats, deadlifts, kettlebell squats/swings, crunches, bench press with dumbells and/or barbell, hacksquats, hangcleans, bent over rows- We mix it up everytime but always lifting some form of weight)
Tuesday- Walk the dogs 1 1/2 hours or rest
Wednesday- walk the dogs in the morning for 30min- 1 hour then 1 hour of yoga evening
Thursday- Spin class or sprint session or jumprope interval session
Friday- Train with trainer- lifting as I do monday
Saturday- Cycle class at the gym
Sunday- Rest day but I usually keep active- garden, walk the dogs, clean the house- I am on my feet all day and I am exhausted at the end of the day
Hope that helps!

Wow, what a visual change, much more than just a number on the scale would indicate. Your work with the trainer along with change in diet is really paying off. Way to go!!
