We grow a lot of the food we eat. This past week I made potato soup from some of the really small potato's that were about the size of a quarter. I washed them, through them in the pot and cooked them, added all the other stuff. On Thursday I went to take a bite of soup at lunch and bit down on a ROCK! Gives a whole new meaning to stone soup. You can bet I will be cutting them the next time I make soup like that! Too make the story even better Friday I bit down on another one. Sigh, glad nothing happened to my teeth.

That must be great to be able to grow your own food. I live in a condo across from the beach so there is no room to do this. But I do grow basil and other herbs in my patio.

Yeah they are great. I wish I could grow broccoli, or spinach, or zucchini.

I envy you that you can grow the food, this is the first place we've lived where we couldn't have a garden of some type and I really miss it. And strangely this is where I gained all this weight.
