Greetings Best Buddies,
To all Veterans and service members - THANK YOU for your service.
I finally saw my specialist endocrinologist yesterday. It had been five years since a visit with him. He was THRILLED with my weight loss; and will slowly titrate my medication lower with my weight loss goal in mind.
IDIOT...IDIOT...IDIOT...
Yes, folks, my IDIOT BOX is stuck. I have seen it fluctuate four pounds up and down and all around the last two weeks...but not really staying down. What have I learned? I learned that even a slight stray with dairy or wheat does not work well for me.
My solution? I am adding in a workout every week as my schedule allows, and working to stay on my nutrition plan.
And NEW words of the week!
Words of the Week: “Success is dependent upon the glands – sweat glands.” ~Zig Ziglar I am dedicated, determined and diligent.

Not only will a workout help melt those stray calories it helps firm and tone your muscles which really help "pull in" the slack around trouble areas. Congratulations on the milestone with DR.

Good news from the doctor. I was bouncing around on weight for a while as well. It appears our bodies adapt to the diet. An extra workout should definitely help. I found that eating more for a day or two helps me with getting more weight off. Good luck!

I like that quote. Goes along with the saying "sweat is your fat crying".

When you say dairy do you mean things like yogurt or cheese or do you mean the whole thing (if you cook it in something)?

@Addie Aline - I try to avoid all dairy - I use grassfed butter and sometimes eat eggs but I avoid cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, etc.
