Well, there it is...the ugly truth. It's a set back for sure, but considering the amount of stress I have been dealing with over the last few weeks and how crazy and hectic things have been I'm not surprised. My sister passed away a couple of weeks ago (while my in laws were visiting). They were here for two weeks and it was a really stressful time since I was grieving and dealing with funeral arrangements and trying to make sure they were comfortable and taken care of at the same time. On top of that, I was trying to find a new house with an in-law apartment so that my parents could come live with me, as my dad is in bad health and my mom was having trouble walking and taking care of herself. Fast forward a few days and I found out my mom went into the hospital with pneumonia (which is what my sister died from) and she currently lives in N.C. while I am in N.H. so it was a lot of stress trying to get information and talking with Doctors. Three days ago they did a CT Scan to find out how much fluid was in her lungs and found out she has stage 4 Renal Cancer. There is no treatment, so it is only a matter of time. My heart is breaking for my Dad. I have had three sisters pass away with in the last 5 years, and now my mother. My dad has lost so much, and I am worried this will be the end of him also. I am overwhelmed and emotionally exhausted. Needless to say I have been stress eating and not taking the best care of myself. I want to get back on track, but with so much in flux right now I don't know how I will. Sorry for the long sad journal, I just needed to vent.
164.0 lb Lost so far: 15.0 lb.    Still to go: 14.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

That's very sad for all of your family.All you can do is be strong so that you can be there for them.

My first comment seemed a bit sterile... I guess I need to work on my writing a little. It must be a very sad and hard time for you and your family. But as I said, I'll be praying for you, and I imagine others will be as well. Stay strong, and have faith. It'll all work out in God's time.

First of all, plz do not apologise for sharing your grief and stress with us. That is what Buddies gladly do. Thank YOU for your courage And honesty in sharing with us. Given your circumstances I think your weigh-in was remarkably good!!!! Our thoughts and prayers are with You and your family. Take care of yourself as much as possible, even as you give care to others.

Girlfriend with all you have going on,, I really wouldn't worry about that number it is a remarkably good number . You have a lot going on right now . I am praying for you and your Family . Take care of yourself it sounds like you are the Rock in the Family,, your in-laws should have been taking care of you during such a difficult time ,, not you taking care of them. I am so sorry for your recent losses .

When we are needed is when we shine. Others around you 'need' something now; be that for them; focus on them and you will find the necessary strength to help them. Rise up for them.... and we you need 'pumped up' a bit, you have us, and hopefully a someone around you closer by. We are in a common struggle, lifes little kicks in the groin are part of that, we all need to realize that.

Michaelsgirl515--You have been through so much. The last thing you need to worry about is apologizing to us here. Try making simple changes right now that you can live with, but that make you feel better about your health. Get plenty of rest. Find some quiet time for yourself, whether that is walking or meditating or whatever you do. Sometimes, bike riding feels wonderful. Focus on finding that balance and let go of any guilt that you might feel. Right now, you just need to heal.
