Wow, another one who can't eat the bars. What I would like to know, is there anyone who can?

Yes, it was an easy fix, thank goodness... But, I sure did like those bars. Today, In lieu of bars. I tried my first FS low carb dessert recipe (added to my cookbook). I made a batch of raspberry cheesecake. But... I am a die hard, in 2 weeks I will give it one last try with the bars. If my weight slows/stalls again I am giving them up completely. PS I have 10 boxes in my pantry. Ugggghhhhh.... (Treats for the grandkids!)

I took one bite out of what I received for free and said YUK... I actually had already bought some prior to the free ones and they were all really good. I loved the chocolate covered coconut ones. So I have 6 boxes of those that will go to my grandkidlings if I can't use them.

My husband loves those coconut ones! He scarfs them up! I am so happy for you that the scale is moving again. It's good that you now know you are one of us who is sensitive to sugar alcohols. I remember well the time early on when I, too, got 'snagged' by those atkins bars. :)

Evie: Hmmmm... that is a great idea. I'll share them w/my husband. I'll drop them in his lunch for work. There... That situation resolved. Thx!

"I made a batch of raspberry cheesecake." - Does this have artificial sweetners in it??? If you slow way down again... start from a place of 'clean eating'. Just real, normal, fresh/frozen foods. Nothing added. Create your own recipes of things you like. Tuna salad, grilled burger, sauteed zucchini, etc. Start w/ the basics. And grow your menu's from there. When you have gone 2-4 weeks eating clean, drinking your water, etc... and are losing 1-2lbs / week regularly, then you can try a recipe like the cheesecake w/ an added sweetner (provided every ingredient is Induction friendly) ... and if you only have it once or twice in that week... you will be able to tell if it stalls you out. If NOT - then you can have it once or twice the next week. But if you have waaaayyyyy too many products at the beginning that are not just natural real food, it's really hard to figure out what the problem could be. (I am sure you're husband will be happy to take care of your snack bar problem :))) Much Love.
