Happy Monday Buddies,

I was again missing in action this weekend - but FS is never far from my thoughts.

The CARB MONSTER took over once again and I exceeded my RDI all weekend. I was conscious and aware but just didn't seem to have control.

I am really struggling to get motivated - I have many reasons (excuses) and simply need to just get a grip.

Usually when I start to exercise more regularly - the food follows.

It is the damned carbs...I must break the addiction!

Let's rock it together!

I am dedicated, determined, and diligent!

It's hard to break out of a cycle like that. I know. I keep taking running starts and always end up derailing. But the trick is to keep getting back up and trying again. You know what the problem is so that's half the battle. Keep at it. It will get easier!

Carbs or sugar - or both. One slice of something is too many because 1000 slices won't be enough... back on track today.

I hear you about the carbs. We went to Red Lobster on Mother's Day, yummy biscuits, but so bad for you. It would be great if I could eat just one of something but that never seems to happen.

That damn carb monster is one busy dude! He was here on Saturday too. I know everything about how motivation can go missing. I had that for what, half a year? I'm not sure I can even tell you how to get it back - other than JUST GO DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO! Ask yourself what you want more. Ask yourself it the carbs or the weight loss is more important. As yourself what is good for you and bad for you. Maybe try something new? New exercise? That did it for me - even to the point where I get a new job out of it. :)

Humans do not need sweets, that is how our genes were programmed over millions of years. If you had to go out and hunt or gather your own food (not from the fridge or cupboard!) what would you look for? It is OK to be a few hours without any food as it may take a while for you to find some nice red berries... Focus on the benefits, visualise yourself lean, energetic, happy with less weight.

I think Bella is right - one is never enough. How do we break this cycle? I'm visualizing with you!
