I got some excellent and upbeat feedback from Buddies yesterday! Thanks Kingkeld, Neptune, Evelyn, and others, etc!

I do KNOW what to do to lose weight...and now, I just need to remind myself WHY I want to continue to lose the weight.

I made a long list once: my health, wanting to physically move when I am old, wanting to be active when I am old, wanting to wear small sizes (10 and 12), wanting to go to beaches and feel great about myself!


Let's rock it together!

I am dedicated, determined, and diligent!

Good girl. All of the bad food I bought Sunday will be out of the house today. Tomorrow, I will be renewing my vow to myself. I have to get the rest of this weight off . . . NOW. We CAN do it. We know how. We just have to get back to it. HUGS!!!

I think that's it - sometimes just remembering 'why' you're doing it serves as a reminder to 'do it'. Otherwise, it's too easy to ask 'what's the point'?

Unfortunately we all have days when it's just 'oh to hell with it', so the next day, we just go Ok, I did that, let's just get over it and move on. Everyone on this site I'm sure knows what to do to lose the weight, and why they need to - health, family, vanity, whatever, but the point is we do it, and when we have an issue, whatever it is, we turn to our friends here on FS and get re-motivated, re-energized, and keep plugging on! you folks are ALL amazing!!

Way to go taking charge! The list is an awesome idea, something to come back to. Might I suggest hanging it on the fridge? :)

Lists are great. So was your weekly big picture. You've got the tools, and the support of many.. So now it's time to build!

Have you tried cleaning out the cupboards and fridge to get rid of all of the trigger foods? Or, if it isn't possible with the other people in the house demanding their carbs, could you have one designated cupboard for them so you don't have to see them all the time? When I'm in my weak spells, I know my willpower is very easily swayed and I find it so hard to avoid the empty calories.
