Well, it’s discouraging to read that I’m gaining 2 pounds a week! I haven’t been able to stick with weight loss behaviors for several years and my weight has crept up and up. I want to fix this! For my knees! Looking for support and encouragement from this amazing community.
222.4 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 47.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

And you're only gaining two pounds a week TODAY. Tomorrow you will do much better and the site will tell you that you are losing half a pound.

The meat and potatoes to it, so to speak... is simple math...but the equation has many other factors... belief and resolve are just a few... You can do this... I won't say it ain't so hard... it is.. but anything worth doing , always is..

Healthy choices. Have your refrigerator ready with fresh fruits and vegetables cut up and ready to eat always helps me. I make turkey burgers or turkey meatloaf Burgers they're delicious. High protein and veggies I use oatmeal as a binder a couple of eggs nothing bad in there and they're really delicious. If I'm hungry all snack on one of those always helps me

Here is a tip, don't focus on your failed attempts, instead keep track of when you make a good choice. mark it down somewhere and try to build up those marks. If you mess up, oh well, make up for it with 2 good marks. Then look back at all those good choices you've made and let them drive you. Keep at it!

Go to bed earlier. I have more willpower during the day. Go for a walk instead of tv

If evenings are your jam, try and brush your teeth right after your last meal. It's silly but it has helped me trigger that mindset of "okay, I am done eating for he day."
