another pound bites the dust! I am pleased to be losing one pound a week. Actually 4 pounds in 3 weeks now. Being hypothyroid I am thrilled with any weight loss that is continuing weekly. I feel like one of the differences this last three weeks is that I am actually eating more food but just making them better choices and keeping my calories down, but not too low. Seems to be working for me. Our company did lead me astry one night. It is so hard to watch everyone around you "pigging out"... while you sit there and drool. I still ended up okay though and my cheats were small and when I entered my food journal and exercise, it balanced out okay... in other words, I used more calories that day than I consumed. Im learning.
Now I need to try to catch up on housework today and find time to catch up with all my FS buddies here.

You are rocking my hypothyroid world! Do you think our metabolism works better this time of the year? I have lost about three pounds in a month which is awesome for me. I am eating more cals now as well-about 2-400 more than "usual". I am still not sure about it-very suspicious and afraid it will creep up until I am having desert with every meal.

The cooler weather could be a reason but I prefer to think that is us making better choices. My calories are up but it is with healthier food choices. Im trying to keep those snacks on time to keep me from getting hungry and that helps me make better choices. My dessert is usually a piece of fruit or yogurt. Of course nuts are my all time favorite snack :D hubby still hides them from me.

Very Awsome, Keep up the good work. I love nuts too so I buy them only once in awhile. I know about the "pigging Out". That is when I am at my weakest when others are influencing me. Peer pressure you got to live with it. Sounds like you are resisting pretty well. Have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Isn't it neat that once you figure out the right food combinations, you can literally eat more? On the Biggest Looser this past week, the one guy only lost 3pounds because he wasn't eating at the required 4 hour intervals. then, after he got himself back on track he lost 13! wow! so good for you! that one pound a week is a great goal to keep in mind!

Yay, fantastic work on another lb biting the dust! ;o) You know I'm sure that there really is something in eating more sometimes... but keeping with the healthier choices. I'm sure it helps keep our metabolism revving, whereas if we eat too low calories it becomes counterproductive and lands up slowing it down! So you keep up the great work there Janelle, as you're doing fantastic. :o)
