Day One of DFW Madness Challenge! Is it wrong that I love the fact that my challenge starts on April Fools day? It's not a joke but for some reason it does seem fitting.

I gave myself a weekend off from counting calories, watching carbs, monitoring how many calories I burned, feeling guilty about biting the head off a peep, stealing a jelly bean from my daughters basket.... And... I gained 3.4 lbs. It just goes to show that I will always be a kid in a candy shop when it comes to sweets. But! The challenge starts today and by the end of the month I will be 145 lbs. I hope! I am in love with the time delay on this site so I can start on my new high.

I did discover something new about myself early this morning. After eating so good for so long my body no longer tolerates all the crap I ate over the weekend. I have sugar toots. Sugar toots don't smell nearly as good regular toots. The bad part is we finally have a new writer starting today. I'm hoping I can drown the sugar toots away so when I have training to do tomorrow I don't kill the poor woman. You'd think cube walls that are only 5 foot tall with a door would let the smell free but they don't! Geez.. maybe the fabric walls are sucking the smell in!

I also discovered I'm the most gullible person when it comes to April fools. So far hubby got me saying we had triplets last night in the barn. We didn't.. we do have 1 new baby girl. I think I will name her Toots. Then the guys at work got me. They said there was a duck outside. It's pouring down rain so I thought ooooh cute I want to see! Nope no duck.. just me.. wet.. outside looking for a duck. Maybe the new writer isn't really a writer.. maybe she's just someone my boss brought in to get my hopes up. Maybe I will share my toots with everyone today.

I hate the fact that cubicle settings make it especially difficult to toot discretely...

I did the same...took the weekend off of counting calories and the same thing happened to me...I've gained 2 and a half pounds. I had a weakness for jelly beans. Darn jelly beans. And then my little guy is being so nice and sharing his chocolate eggs and chocolate and peanut butter bunnies...I couldn't say no! The things you have to do for your kids!! Looking forward to the challenge and losing some more pounds. No Amish around here, so that will be the easy part of the challenge but I do have to watch what I say around my manager...she's kinda like the Amish! Have a great day sharing your sugar toots! LOL!

Nah the worst toots are a combination of beans, onions and eggs! trust me I can clear a room or two! :)

I ate a huge See's Chocolate butter Egg; cleared the room of humans and cats with THOSE toots, even made my eyes water! Anti-gas tablets with simethicone are great for ending toots from any sort. Haven't weighed yet, but I guess if my weight is up it is a good way to begin the challenge.

Dang-I bow down before your superior toots, I have NEVER managed to clear the room of cats as well as humans! RE@ the challenge. I am heading out soon to get the batteries for my Wii Fit board so I can work on some yoga, and I'm hoping to do a bit of muscle toning with weights for the Bingo Wings and perhaps a moderately brisk walk around the block a couple of times. I know that's not really a challenge for most of you, but believe me, for me it is! LOL! I'm still lapping everyone sitting on the couch eating leftover Easter candy, right?

DFW--Anyone who has the guts to publically admit (in WRITING, no less!) that they think that their regular toots "smell good" in any way is a HERO in my book! :D P.S.--Don't worry about the fabric walls unless they start peeling...

I admit alot of things in public I should never admit. lol I think I'm missing a filter or something. Adding another baby just seemed to make things worse. I think my mouth has a leak. It does make life more interesting though!

I am so happy to see most of us let things go and enjoyed the holiday. I can't believe I'm going to admit this publicly but now I understand why I had the toots last night as well. That darn peanut butter rabitt. Day 1 of our challenge...let's get moving.

I never get anything right. For over two weeks I've been scurrying off like a little rabbit & nibbling my chocolate easter egg every single night but yesterday, none, nada. I was ready to get those things & half the girl scout cookies OUT of HERE. I did probably over do it on the roasted lamb and let me tell ya the only reason there isn't a tuba player here in my shop is because I don't trust it to all be wind... so .. yeah, too much TMI. I half expected you to say 'Fooled Ya, No Challenge...' GUESS I'll go out & reread the rules and see how long I can stick with a challenge!

Yeah - the candy corn and the malted robin eggs...then my sil made an amazing carrot cake with cream cheese icing and cadbury eggs. Seriously...it was all so good. Glad we're both trying to get back in the swing of things....I was up to 223 from 221 last week. NOT the direction of choice. Sure the homemade sheperds pie I made yesterday didn't help. It was my grandmother's receipe and one of my favorites. Go figure my version - with the same ingredients - didn't taste as yummy as I remembered hers was. Thinking of spicing it up a little. Couldn't cause my mom can't handle the heat. :O)

Haha with the April Fools jokes. I think Erika got us good again this year. I'm like you, fall for them every time. Sounds like you had a great time with your family though. Here's wishing you an amazing challenge, culminating with the weightloss goal you set. (I'll be so jealous)
