Thursday is just a Friday teaser!!
Happy Thursday everyone!! I do hope that we are all doing well today!! I have my coconut coffee and 32oz of water at my desk ready to KILL IT!!! I am haing a good day, I got a youtube mix of 50s,60s,&70s playing in the background. I am set up for a good day. I will make it a good day, no matter what comes my way...we will see how that goes!! haha
When I was a kid, we used to take Saturday morning and clean the house, myself, my older siblings and my mom. She would put on 8tracks or pull out the record player. We would clean our butts off for one whole song, and then the next song we would hula hoop, jump rope, play jacks, or whatever and then when that song ended, we would go back to cleaning. We would usually have the whole house done in just an hour or so. Those are some of my favorite memories, even though we were cleaning, she made it fun for us. We had no idea that we were doing chores. This youtube mix that I am listening to, reminds me of that.
So I couldn't help myself, I stepped on the scale again this morning, even though I told myself I would wait for Friday for the official weigh in. I was a whole pound lighter and I was wearing clothes this time!! I am floored at how much weight I am losing. I cant get over it!!! I am 4lbs away from being UNDER 400lbs!! I just cannot believe it...I am really doing it this time!! I am working hard and seeing results!! Its amazing!!
My wedding rings need to be sized, but I keep telling my husband that I dont want to do it until I am wear I want to be. Gold will not handle resizing very much and this ring was his mothers engagement ring, so its from 1968, I dont want anything to happen to it. The wedding band is replaceable, but the engagement ring is not. I would rather wait, and if they get to the point of falling off, I will wear them on a chain until the time is right.
Oh, I bought Jergens Firming Glow lotion, to get a fake tan for the wedding at the end of the month, and I have found that it is firming up my loose chin skin a little bit. Not much, but its a little tighter. It could just be time has helped heal it, but I want to believe that this lotion that I paid $11 for at walgreens is doing it because I could have gotten it at walmrt for $8. haha.
Today I will pray that my attitude stays hopeful and pure, that my mind stays focused on the good and my spirit stays joyful. I will thank God for all the blessings that I have been given and give praise for the times of trouble, for they have taught me to be strong and to persevere no matter the situation. I will pray that my family and friends (all of you) are blessed beyond measure and that we all see the powerful love of God in our lives today. I will sing joyful songs to the Lord and stay the course He has led me to. In Jesus holy name, Amen!!!
