My name is Leah, I'm 26, and I live in Memphis, TN.

I recovered from anorexia years ago and immediately found a new eating disorder: binge-eating.

I lost my weight with Weight Watchers and The Kind Diet! I'm learning to maintain the loss with Intuitive Eating.

switching from Atkins to WW
I switched from South Beach to Weight Watchers a couple of years ago, and at first I was maintaing for a couple of weeks, but then the weight started to drop off slowly. WW is a much better way (for me, anyway) to eat pretty normally and still lose weight.

Don't expect to lose quickly though, I lost an average of 1 pound a week. That DOES add up, though!

Shin Splints.
Ice + pain relievers + DOR is what I generally do if I get shin splints. The last thing you want to do is get a stress fracture! I almost got one once, it was very painful.

Promote your blog here!
Just thought that I would try to get a few more blog readers/followers by posting about my blog!

If you have a blog that you think would benefit the FS community, please share your link!

Mine is about my journey with Weight Watchers, vegan eating (as outlined in The Kind Diet by Alicia Silverstone), learning to love exercise, losing 76+ pounds, and learning to maintain that loss (and possibly lose a couple more pounds) with Intuitive Eating.

If that sounds interesting, please feel free to check it out!

500 calorie or less diet experiment
You know what I called it when I ate less than 1000 calories a day for a year? An eating disorder. My doctor agreed.

Consider Weight Watchers if you "need" a semi-structured plan. Best of luck to you!
