I can relate. I have been off/on here for many years, but I really need to get it together & stay here, even after goal is reached. It is a pain when you don't feel the best and you even know why! At least it is for me. I know when I'm doing something that is not good for me but just do it anyway. NOT yesterday and NOT today, at least these 2 days (so far) Have been good for ME! Even when faced with temptation. Whew, all I can say is check in & keep taking it one day and sometimes one minute at a time! Hope we can be buddies on this journey :-)

Thanks JMA312! Yes! I do know when I'm doing something wrong, like eat an extra serving when I'm not hungry I just do it because I like it. It is disappointing to me when I do it and really don't care but then I kind of regret it. I will check in here again. Thanks for the support....

Hi Friday - Much of my life I have been a yo-yo . I'm still afraid of "fall ingredients off the wagon". I'll be 70 in January and I know if I blow it now it will be really bad. I still want to lose a minimum of 60 more lbs. I know I can do it with work and dedication . You know what it takes and you know you can do it with support. Good luck.

Welcome back! Logging in here and keeping track of food has been my main key for success. It’s a type of accountability that I can’t deny. Support here, well, what can I say, it’s like a warm welcoming family hug ❤️. You can do this!! We all can. Mind over matter!!!

Welcome back! Good luck. I am having trouble due to holiday eating. I have not even started the baking yet except for pie at Thanksgiving.

Welcome back..We are all here to support you in any way we can. Congratulations on getting back on track. You're right it's not the easiest time of year to eat carefully but it's probably the most important time. I once read that the average American gains 11lbs between Halloween and Thanksgiving if they are not making conscious decisions about their diet. They lose a few lbs after New year but often retain the rest hence the weight gain year after year. You can do this, and hopefully stay connected to fat secret after you get back to goal to help you through the maintenance phase and beyond.

I have been at the place you are in. Just coming back is a good start. We all have our backslides. Do not let them define you. Here we all struggle together and help to left one another back up. Good you are back.

I totally understand what you mean! I’ve had the same experience. I went down to 140lb from 225lb a few years ago. I’ve slowly gained the weight back over the past 4 years, until I weighted the other week and was 180lbs 😱.. so hey maybe we can be in this together! You can lose the weight! You’ve got this!!

Thanks for the welcoming guys. I appreciate it. It's been a little over a month since I've been here but, here I am. I decided to join Weight Watcher's. This is how I lost 30lbs before so I'm back at it. I don't know how to do it on my own. Weight Watcher's helps me, plus 2 of my coworkers are in with me. I know I will achieve my goal. Thanks for your support. I will weigh in tomorrow and update you guys. Thanks....
