I have Diabetes 2, and have been working hard to equalize my blood sugars. I inject insulin on a sliding scale and thus need to insure that I have the correct carbs at each meal. I have been using another program but find that many of the foods that I look up are not there and I must find them online and enter them. Takes too much of my time. In 2016 I had a meningioma (brain tumor) and had it removed. Not as scarey as it sounds. After the hospital I spent time in a Nursing facility. It was an eye opener and I have been taking much better care of myself. Counting carbs has had the benefit of causing weight loss. I noticed this when my shoes and watch were too loose.

Married. Celebrated 37 yrs last week.
2 Dogs. Rescue mutts. Greatest dogs.
Oliver - Bichon mix and Janey - Terrier (probably cairn terrier) mix.
Mother of three great kids. Son Rob 46, musician (going to have twins this yr.) Son Bill 36, computer programmer and daughter Katie 38 who just became an RN.
Grandmother of nine if you don't count the stepgrands
Great grandmother of 2 plus husband's daughter's daughter is due today.
My granddaughter just told me she is due 1 September.
Semi-controlled Type 2 Diabetes. Controlled hypertension. Controlled hypokalemia.
I was Navy brat. Born in Philly, and am now in Southern CA. Lived in Gitmo for 5 yrs. Was there during the Castro takeover. Spent teen years in New Jersey on Long Beach Island. Career was crisis intervention and victim advocate.
My goal now is to get my diabetes under control. Counting carbs has brought my A1C down from 12.9 to 8.5. I need to get it to 7.0 and am pretty sure I can do it with the help of this program.
