Update 3/28/18. So far I’m down 96 pounds! I’m able to be more mobile with less pain. I originally wanted to be down my first 100 lbs by my 1 year Keto anniversary (end of February) but I’m more than happy to even be close to that. I know I will continue on this journey...I won’t ever go back to eating the way I used to. This is my life now and I’m very happy with it! The weight will continue to come off, so it will take as long as it takes! 😎.

Have pretty much "yo-yo dieted" myself to a weight of 430 pounds. Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in January 2017, had already been battling many other health issues. Started low carb eating in Jan 2017, then began Keto. LCHF eating has done wonders for me! Blood sugar is under control, weight is coming off and other health issues are improving as well.
Here's the thing, I have grandbabies who need me, I can reverse my diabetes and get off meds for it..but it will always be there, lurking. I have to eat a certain way for the rest of my life now. I will keep my blood sugars under control! Losing weight will allow me to get the knee replacement surgeries I need so that I can keep up with my grandkids (and day to day life in general)
I can and WILL do this!
