Absolutely exhausting 24+ hours. Hogan had a crazy allergic reaction around lunch on Friday, ER, face ballooned, breathing trouble, drooling, etc. Follow up today, all good so far. Still no idea what caused it. Spider, bug, ruled out rattlesnake, but roller-coaster ride. He's home, face finally looks mostly normal, I'm hanging out at home tonight, no walks, not worrying about it. Thankful he made it through.
Logging weight, think I captured most of my food. Thankful. No walk today, probably not tomorrow. I'll do something for me, but we have to take it easy another day or so.

I'm glad Hogan is okay. It sounds like a bee sting or some kind of bite. Is it too cold for bees. Bobby gets skin allergies but I would freak out if he had the symptoms Hogan had.

so far so good. second follow up with regular vet yesterday. epi-pen on order, some smaller issues to follow up on. I'm so so so lucky. first, that he made it, second, that I last minute decided to keep insurance on him for no real reason other than the general uncertainty of things in the air. so many lessons learned here. it was not a snake bite. listen to your gut, etc. slept hard last night.

I saw a bee today! Was surprised, thought it was too cold for them. Lucky you have pet insurance. Wish I had it for my 3 cats and Bobby. Fritzy has cost me about $1500 for dental work and then the problems afterwards.

Oh Kat! I'm so sorry to hear this! And so glad that he is fine again! I don't know what's happening with this app lately as I totally missed this post and had to come find it after reading about Hogan in your recent post.
