I've always been an "all or nothing" person when it comes to diet and exercise. I'm either very good or very bad. When I am eating good, I am exercising. When I am eating junk, I'm a couch potato.

I probably have a dozen pairs of pants, mostly jeans that are 1, 2, or 3 sizes smaller than what I wear currently. And I only have 2 pair of jeans that I can fit into now. As they wear out I replace them. I haven't gone down a size in several years. I have lost 25 pounds or so at least 3 times in the past 5 years. But it will take about 30 pounds to get in to the next size smaller pants. I know it's usually about 10-15 pounds to go down a size for me, but I am wearing what I have pretty tight right now, can't face the idea of going up another size.

I set a goal to lose 15 pounds and after that will set another goal. I want a goal that I can achieve. I need to lose 50-60 pounds total. In January 2022 I set a goal of 5 pounds a month or 60 pounds for the year. As of the middle of April I've lost only 5 pounds or so. But I will keep on trying. I don't eat much meat so worry about getting enough protein.

Weight history question
I think the bar changes color when you lose 25% of your goal, then 50%, 75% and goes blue when you are within a pound or two of your final goal. My goal was 58 pounds, so every 14.5 pounds it changes color, although sometimes it does change a pound or two early.

[Complaining] Recently Eaten sucks and how to copy a meal?
Not sure about what abbadabba said, haven't found the box she is talking about. We may be talking about the same feature, but it works differently for me. But I use "copy current meal" on the right side of the page where it shows favorite meals. Once meals are listed it will then give you the option to copy your breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks. You can go back in you food history and copy previous days' meals as well. I have added a specific food that I eat all the time all by itself as a meal and label it, then I can add a favorite food and add for example "hot chocolate" which already has the milk and hot cocoa mix I use. Once I enter it I can go to the specific food and change it. For example if my favorite hot chocolate food has 12 oz of skim milk, I can change it to 8 oz or whatever. Hope that makes sense.

I’m Not Feeling Welcome Here
I agree with abbadabba - if you keep your journal, profile, diet journal all private, no one can see it and you won't get much feedback. I figure since no one here knows me personally I don't have a problem letting my weight and diet viewed. If someone has everything "private" I figure they really don't want to interact.

How do I eat more calories without eating more carbs etc?
Do you have high cholesterol? If so, I would increase calories by having good fat like avocado, nuts and olive oil. Hard for me to give advice since I don't follow a really low carb diet and have been told by my doctor that for me and my issues a low fat diet is best. So I avoid butter, cheese, egg yolks all which have lots of calories. They may work for you if your health issues allow. Have you asked your doctor for a diet plan?

Scales at home
I finally got a new scale that matches the doctor's office exactly. I would just use the weight on the scale at home and know that the doctor's office will show more OR get a new scale - but it still might not match. Before I go to the doctor's office I weigh myself. Then as I get dressed and put my shoes on I keep weighing myself to see what to expect at the doctor's office. I put my purse down before stepping on the scale, but don't take off any clothes or my shows at his office. But the weight I use, is what my scale says before I get dressed in the morning.
