baskington's Journal, 08 December 2018

I had my pizza yesterday and though I logged a full slice of crust on my food journal I had about a half one, but I did have tons of cheese and pepperoni. They changed the sauce and it tasted sweet to me, I ended up having heart palpitations so I don't think I will be doing that again anytime soon. new symptom for me!

I ate a ton but fortunately I was on the downswing and did not gain any weight overnight. I have gained enough last week from all the inflammation I have had. I will have to try something else for my treats.

Just have not been able to focus on any exercise, my muscles just don't feel good and I tend to cause myself an injury lately when I do resistance work. everything is just too tight. Been going to get my weekly massage and after the workout on Thursday I have a new numb spot. Something has to give pretty soon.

have an appointment with the doctor again on Monday and we WILL be doing more bloodwork to try and track down what is going on. I may break down and consult a functional doctor as well.

Overall though I am feeling better today, my eyes are still burning but other than that and the normal pain, no cramping or anything else strange.

Glad you are feeling a little better today. Sounds like you have a pretty powerful built-in pizza deterrent! Hope doc can figure out what is going on.

I am carnivore Liv so no I don't do pizza often, I wrote yesterday I was taking a break from my woe for a meal.

Yes Jengetfit, I really don't care for the crust part so pizza is not a big stretch from a low carb plan, just has a lot of food types I don't do well on. the pepperoni is great though

gosh that is high blood sugar is it not Keyten?? I don't eat gluten products at all for a couple years it tends to make me retain water and get constipated. the half of pizza slice of dough hopefully did minimal damage.

"Normal pain" - it is what it is and we must figure out what works. Sure hope there aren't any reactions and restrictions added to your list. 😊

Be careful. Numbing is the same as pain, it's all nerve related.

it was and definitely off my woe with the bread crumbs but my husband was happy he got something we normally don't eat. it is city fried veal and a little bit of pork the way he makes it! still in ketosis not way over my carbs for that, but way off track for normal
