@baskington - Thanks! But, did you mean 7/22? On 7/22 I was not lifting seriously yet and 'on the way down' losing weight. When I got to 163 I had almost no muscle tone (because I really didn't have much before). That is when I started lifting (and gaining weight).

@chesgreen - Thanks man! I am posting this because I want this to be my 'before' 30 days from now :) I am committed to these serious 3 day a week weight workouts. I have to give myself a few weeks to see if it was something I could do.

yes I did not realize both pictures were 8/19, the upper one looks skinny and your lower one looks buff. the first picture you look robust too but less muscle definition, I guess the difference in the first two pictures with your face threw me off.

Looking real good brother! I think I’m thinking the same. I’m nearly at my goal wait and don’t want to go lighter in fear of losing muscle mass. Now I need to find time for weight lifting in my trucking life! Keep up the good work and the pics. You are inspiring to us all!

@baskington - You point out the same issues that I also see. This is why I think I will have to do several 'bulk and cuts' for my body and face to look 'normal' but be composed of lean muscle rather than fat :)

@60pack - In my case, I never had much muscle because I had never previously seriously worked out. When I do my 'cut' (losing weight), when I hit 180lbs, we will see how much muscle I lose...

well I don't know what is best in that department, but I do eat more on workout days so I don't have too much of a calorie deficit at the end of the week, it is hard for me, just not hungry enough. I know you will learn what works best for you as you are so dedicated and definitely have a mind of your own! you know what does and does not work and you will keep adjusting til you find a winning plan. I have confidence in you
