Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Cookies
Delectable chocolate chip cookies with peanut butter and bananas.
Ingredients
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
- Mash ripe bananas well, add granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture. Melt peanut butter and add to bowl. Stir in morsels.
- Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown (may take a little longer when using bananas to cook all the way through).
- Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks (or paper towel) to cool completely.
- Note: no egg or butter is used so these are vegan friendly, plus they stay nice and moist.

We made these with 2 cups whole wheat flour (instead of the other kinds called for), 1 cup of choc chips instead of two and they were really good. Made them for the kids but it sucks having them around... I shouldn't have tried one. :)

We made these with splenda, brown sugar splenda and walnuts instead of chocolate chips. Very good.
