Hi, im mimi. ill be 21 in about 7 weeks! im a dancer, actress, and singer. i own my own dance and performing arts school. im majoring in theatre performance and my dream is to be on a movie set at least once in my life! i have been struggling with my weight since about 6/7th grade. i have never been wayyy overweight... the most 10 lbs over weight. but i guess i do have some self image issues. it has gotten worse over the past 2 years after i graduated highschool. i had minor unhealthy eating habits.. sometimes i still do. I have found that i have become very interested in dieti
i have found out that the only secret to losing weight is to do it the old fashioned way-> diet and exercise. losing weight is hard (expecially for women) and its a battle. it's not supposed to be easy. im not following any diet. the whole point is not to "diet", its to change the way you eat for all time. and that is why i do not believe in any specific diets.
I dont have an issue with exercising, i teach dance everyday of the week. The only thing is my eating habits and self control that i have been trying to work on. They say miami is the fattest city in the US. its very hard to stick to eating healthy expecially if you're hispanic lol. i love my cuban food. but i have learned to switch to at least brown rice, since when my mom cooks, theres always white rice involved.
Anyway, before write a novel, i hope to find some friends on this website to help encourage me and push me
