I am 46, living in england, on & off since 1990, but born & raised in germany. I always had a pretty active life, i do love exercise, even trying to become a fitness instructor myself( just not finding the the time to study properly), but since i have been here I have learned a lot about what i eat, which isn't that bad....just way too much!!! LOL
so I am here to keep an eye on that & slowly but hopefully steady will go lower(lighter) in time! :)

Update 23/08/2012

Well I have reached my goal, slowly & steady :)
I will keep on living the way I have done the past 4 1/2 month, maybe a little less strict, certainly without tracking from now on, unless the weight creeps up again.
In time I might lower my goal a little, but for now I am happy with what I have achieved & aim to maintain this :)

Update 8/05/13

So much for reaching my goal: I did gain a few kilos back, but at the same time i tweaked how I eat & started weightlifting. I am amazed how strong I have grown, how lean I can look. I have learned to accept that strong lean muscles are heavier, not saying there isn't any more room for improvement :)

Does it come right back because you go back to the way you ate before you lost the weight? It will only stay of if you change your eating habits for good. You may say you don't like healthy food, but I am a great believer that you can actually educate for taste buds Smile. Cooking meals from scratch helps. That way you know exactly what you put in your mouth and avoid hidden sugars and too much salt Smile

Kettle bells!
I have been Kettlebell training for 2 years now. They are awesome Smile. Its the one exercise I am not getting tired of. If it gets easy you just use a heavier one!

I couldn't function properly without a decent breakfast. Especially when I had a heavy workout the night before I make sure I get plenty of protein to repair my muscles. It sets the right tone for my day Smile
