I have pretty much weighed 313 since 2006.

Diet: Keto and Intermittent Fasting

Macronutrient Goals:
1200 calories
100 grams protein = 400 calories = 30%
15 grams carbs = 60 calories = 5%
87 grams fat = 780 calories = 65%

+/- 10% on the calories otherwise I get too focused on being perfect.
I am a binge eater so my main goal is to stay on program.

Hi Amanda! Welcome back to FS! 40 pounds is a lot! And I know how it can change your life b/c I lost 50 and it has made a huge difference in my day to day activities and overall energy level.

I hope you can keep posting. Maybe you can join some challenges or log your food. I didn't like food logging but it has helped me a lot!

Help! What am I doing wrong?
I noticed you don't really keep your food journal. I would encourage you to start doing that so you have more info to evaluate! I used to hate doing the food journal but I am pretty consistent with it now - it can help you spot little problems with amounts or your macros.

Why you don't lose weight?
What felipema may be referring to is an idea that Dr. Jason Fung has put forward about just limiting calories as a form of weight loss. There is a whole YouTube on this idea and I can't do it justice to explain it but the bottom line is if you JUST limit calories your body adjusts its metabolism and learns to live with the new calorie level. The Youtube is called "The Calorie Deception".

Ketogenic Diet and Bullet Proof Coffee
I don't like coffee but I ordered the MCT (brain octane) that goes in the coffee to put in my tea. I ordered theirs b/c they seem like high quality MCT. I did a lot of reading to come to that conclusion.
