My name is Penny, I'm 37 and from Boise, Idaho. I lost almost 40 lbs about 3 years ago but this last year I have gained 18 back. I guess being happy and in love will make that happen...lol. I just got engaged in January and I want to fit into a cute sexy dress for my wedding. I also refuse to buy new clothes. We just moved and are all unpacked so there is no excuse for eating crap. i started my diet yesterday (6/19/2011) and started tracking my calories today. I hope to have this weight gone in 9 weeks. Thats only 2 lbs a week!
Its August 23,2011 and I still have almost 5 pounds to go. After trying the Dukan diet for a while I'm back to my own diet but with more wisdom. I am cutting back on salt, sugar and fat and eating more protien. I still have my carbs but in moderstion and only complex carbs. So no white flour or sugar. I try to use stevia when I can. I'm surprised how many product now use it as their sweetner. My new favorite drink it Vitamin Water Zero. Anyway I hope to go dress shopping soon and love the way I look in them.
