My name is Amanda. I am 29, married, and have two beautiful little girls who are 3 years old, and 2 years old. Needless to say, whith the girls being born so close to each other, the weight I gained has kind of been difficult to lose. However, I have finally gotten fed up, and am working to lose the weight. I started out at 169, and in a month of watching what I eat, and exercising, I am down to 151 lbs already. I have been counting calories, but I have decided to change it up a little, and try out the dukan diet. I am here to keep track of what I am doing, and to meet like minded people who are determined and motivated to lose the weight and be healthier, happier people.

So some things have changed since i first joined a fee years ah. I finally got down to my ultimate goal of 125lbs, since then i got pregnant with baby number three, turned 32, and am now having to start all over again. I am at 165lbs post baby, and working out on a regular basis, watching what i eat, and determined to get back in my size five jeans that i had finally gotten into before getting pregnant again. I love my babies, but boy they do a number on my body. I haven't lost a lot of weight since having Christian, but i have gained muscle, so i am motivated. Due to breast feeding i lost 25lbs right of the bat, but now the rest is up to me. Lets

That is messed up, I would find someone in charge and find out why they are doing this. If they don't give you a good answer I would look at switching gyms.

I think when my membership expires in a few months, I'll try the at home stuff - probably p90x.

My gym's becoming too crowded for comfort at the moment anyway...I thought it was resolutionists but shouldn't that be over by now Smile

Me and my husband are doing P90X, and we love it. I feel that I get a much better work out than I ever got at the gym. Going to start running the hill in my back yard for my cardio, but dont actually need to with P90X, I just thought it would be great to get outside. Hope you have great success. Just remember the success is in the program; stick with the program and you will have success.

does anyone else feel constantly unable to control their eating?
If you want something that is simple, and fullfills cravings try smart one's meals. They have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert options; it taste like real food, it fills you up, and it satisfies cravings for sweets and pastas without losing taste. I love them.
Also, if you love sweets like I do, try special K chocolate for a snack or a breakfast, and believe it or not, dried prunes take away cravings for sweets. My other trick is every time I feel hungry, and its not time for an actual meal, I drink a glass of water or crystal light, and eat a gala apple. It helps keep you in control so that you dont binge eat, or emotionally eat.

Good home scale
I think my scale is off. It says that I weigh 145 first thing in the morning, but when I weighed myself at the gym it said I weigh 150. Great; now I need a new scale. Any suggestions on pocket book friendly scales that are accurate?
